"BOB JAMES MEMORIAL RACE"
The 1st Annual Bob James Memorial Race was held on Saturday December 13th, 2008. Over 160 Friends and Family came out to support the James Family. OC/RC saw 21 packed heats for the event.
All proceeds from the race went to the James Family and the OC/RC Family of racers did not dissapoint.
Several sponsors ponied up for a raffle that included complete Car Kits, Tires, Tools, Clothing and more. A huge thanks to Team Associated, TRU R/C, Panther, Rob's Hobbies, Gyro Hobbies, HPI / Hot Bodies, Team Losi, Team Orion, Bonzai Ryan "Pudge" for the bodies and our fearless leader, Robert Black.
Racing went as smooth as the track surface thanks to our MC, Jeremy Felles. The track crew pulled together to deliver perfect track conditions for the event.
OC/RC would like to thank all of the racers for coming and supporting this awesome cause. A nice amount of money was raised which will truly help the James Family.
