The 3rd Annual PRO-LINE Surf City Classic will be held on the weekend of
August 28th - 29th 2010.

The 3rd Annual Surf City Classic is a 2 day event and will be held at OC/RC Raceway on August 29th and 30th, 2010.
$4000.00 in Prize Money is on the line!!
We will have a 1,000.00 Payout for the winner in each of the following classes:
PRO INVITATIONAL:
*Expert Modified 2WD Buggy
*Expert Modified 2WD Truck
*Expert Modified 4WD
*Expert 1/8th Scale
Trophies awarded for all Mains!
Free T-Shirt for the First 150 Entries. FREE Pair of Pro-Line rear Tires for the winner of each qualifier and each main throughout the event!!
EVENT CLASSES:
Amateur 2WD Truck / 2WD Buggy - 17.5
Sportsman 2WD Truck / 2WD Buggy - 17.5
Expert Sportsman 2WD Truck / 2WD Buggy / 4WD- 13.5
Sportsman 1/8th Electric Scale Buggy - 4 cell Battery limit
Stock Short Course Truck - RTR Motor or 17.5
PRO 2 Short Course Truck - Open Motor
PRO 4 Short Course Truck - 2 cell 7.4 LiPo Only

$40 Entry Fee for your 1st class and $30 each for your 2nd and 3rd class.
Doors Will Open at 5 am
Controlled Practice at 6 - 8:30 am
Racing Starts at 9 am
3 Qualifiers on Saturday, 8.29.09 (5 min for all classes)
All Mains on Sunday, 8.30.09 (5 min for Amateur and 7 min for all Sportsman / Expert)

2ND ANNUAL SURF CITY CLASSIC - AUGUST 29th and 30th 2009
Thanks to all the participants who attended the 2009 2nd Annual Pro-Line Surf City Classic!
We had a great weekend of racing with over 100 racers and 16 heats of action.
Over 4 grand was on the line in the pro classes and the racers did not disappoint. The racing action was intense with finishes within seconds and several lead changes throughout the races.
Ryan Cavalieri was the big winner on the day taking home 4 sweet trophies and 1700.00 in cold hard cash. Great job Ryan!
The races went super smooth and a huge thanks to Charlie Suangka for his great work on the mic and keeping the program rolling along all day. Great work, Charlie!

The dust has settled and everyone that attended will tell you that the 1st Annual Surf City Classic at OC/RC was a complete success. OC/RC saw 155 entries and 19 action packed heats. Thanks to Jeremy Felles for running an amazing program and keeping the race day flowing.
$3,000.00 was on the line for the Expert Modified classes with the big winner's for the day being Ryan Cavalieri and OC/RC local Steven Hartson both of Team Associated.
The 2wd Mod Buggy A-Main had to have been the most exciting race of the day. "RC", who was TQ for the race, made a rare bobble early in the race which allowed Hartson to make his move and take over the lead. Steven then laid down some flawless laps to check out and grow his lead to a half of a lap. "RC" had a strong push at the end but Hartson was too much on this day and took the win. Great job Steven !
